a-england dragon swatch

Firstly, I cannot say enough how much I LOVE everything about this polish. It goes on smooth and opaque first coat, even though i just did two for good measure.

Dragon is an amazing green shimmer with a orangy-yellow holo. Its hard to put a finger on the exact colour, in some lights its a deep christmas tree green, and when the light hits it it really shows up not just the holo, but a much lighter green shimmer.

Sorry this is a pic-heavy post, but i spent ages holding my polish up to the wall to try capture the real amazingness of this polish. I think this one is much closer to what it looks like in real life than the other. At a distance it comes off darker, but when you look you can really appreciate this polish for what it is.

And (as is always the case with holos) it is notoriously hard to capture the holo on the nail, s I tried to get it in the bottle, and im sorry but you'll have to use your imaginations for how this translates to the nail.
Anyway I think I've made it pretty clear what I think of this polish (love it) so if you havent already got it go straight to their site and get some, it's a little pricy I know, but it's worth every dollar. If I could afford it I would buy every a-england there is, but sadly my life cannot revolve around nail polish.

Anyways hopefully this was at least a little helpful, and not too wordy for you, agan, any comments or feedback would be very appreciated. :)

Glitter in the Rain

After spending way way way too long drooling over and attempting (sometimes disastrously) to replicate manicures from the likes of glitter obsession, the nailasaurus and the amazing Theodora from red hair and black nail polish I have decided to start my own nail blog. For the time being im probably just going to do swatches until im either good or confident enough to show you guys some of my nail art attempts. Anyways here goes my first real post

Inspired by the rainy weather we've been having lately, I need something to brighten up my day so i decided to brighten up a more or less plain mani with a little glitter (why not?)

I used my new favourite blurple creme Shade 004 by you cosmetics, although it does go a little funny under the topcoat, and its a little more purple in person...

The gold glitter feature nail I used a random pickup from a discount cosmetics store, which sadly doesn't have a name, because although its kinda sparse (3 coats here) it is my favorite plain gold glitter in my collection. I topped the whole thing with Seche Vite topcoat.

Anyways I hope my first post isn't too bad, I appreciate any comments or feedback on all my posts, subscribe if you like, I hope to be posting more in the very near future.
