Silver French

Today I've only got a quick one, I tried a water marble earlier today, that failed so horribly I can't even show you guys. Anyways I had to do something last minute so this is what I did. Even though I've got a set of OPI nude shades coming, I decided to give French Pink by Ulta a go.

 

Its a weird shade, a little yellow for my skin tone, and somehow manages to be completely opaque in some places, and near transparent in others. I've also never used a gel that streaks like this one! It took me about 3 tries to get it this even. Anyways despite the problems with the application it dried reasonably well and the topcoat hid most of the streaking. 

For the tips I used Tinsel Town from China Glaze's 'Let it Snow' collection. its an absolute glitterbomb, microglitter and slightly larger hex glitter set in a black gel base. For the amount of glitter that this has in it it goes on really well, opaque in two coats (if your doing the whole nail).
